I didn't think anything of it, just that I slept wrong. A few days later my symptoms got worse. I started having a slight fever. My headache got worse, my temples would start pulsing and right after the pain spread to the crown of my head and all the way down to my neck and shoulders. The pain was so severe, I cried a couple of times. My vision was blurry, it was hard to see while driving and it hurt to look into light. I would also start hearing pounding in my ears whenever I walked or head loud noises. This was happening for 9 days then I finally went to our family doctor. He checked my vision (It was perfect 20/20). He didn't know what it was, so he refered me to a neurologist and to have some blood work done. He also prescbibed me pain medicine. The next day my pain was so bad that I decided to go to the ER. The doctor at the ER thought I might have Viral Meningitis right away. He had me do a CT Scan, that was clean. Then he did a Lumbar Puncture, that showed confirmation of the Virus. I've been at the hospital for 2 days so far being treated with fluid antibiotics. I don't know what is gonna happen next.
